Monks Eleigh Bygones Collectors Club
Who we are
Welcome to the Monks Eleigh Bygones Collectors Club.
The club was formed by Paul Goodchild to represent the needs and views of a group of vintage machinery and bygones enthusiasts who found the existing vintage clubs in the area did not have quite the right outlook for our particular interests.
Mr Mike Barnes is the new Chairman of the club. Mike was elected at the 2016 annual general meeting after Paul Goodchild stepped down due to health issues and other commitments. Paul was elected to be the President of the club.
The club now has an active membership of about 100. The emphasis is on the word "active" and it is the key to our success.

What we do
Regular club meetings are held at Long Melford Royal British Legion Social Club on the first Friday of every month. This is a chance for members to catch up with club events and news.
Guest speakers and events such as film shows are regular features of the monthly club meetings and always prove popular.

First Friday each month unless otherwise stated. 7:30pm at the Royal British Legion Club, Long Melford Sudbury Suffolk CO10 9EH. All Newcomers will be welcome. There is a bar and raffle.
The highlight of our calendar is the Annual Vintage Rally which has gone from strength to strength in recent years, not only do we enjoy ourselves we entertain and educate the public but most important of all we ensure that a generous donation from the club is donation towards a deserving local charity.
Join us at the 2019 Rally on the 22nd and 23rd of June.

Mike has been able to rustle up some new stalls and bygone jumble.
We have a beer tent and live music saturday night .
Project 7 as usual will be delivering great food and soft drinks. We also have stalls for crepes, fish and chips, ice creams and sweets.
We also have some live steam engines at the show.
Military vehicles are welcome, and the NAAFI wagon will be there on the Sunday.
We have great arena displays during the day for all the family.
The Monks Eleigh Bygones and Collectors club are looking foward to seeing you all, have great weekend!
